Webinar Description:
Climate impacts are intensifying the world over, with businesses facing significant and growing risks from heatwaves, droughts, floods, and storms. These risks are particularly acute for business and public sector properties, where climate impacts can result in significant damage and disruption, reduced productivity, and soaring insurance premiums. Some offices and buildings have seen insurance premiums rise by up to 40 per cent in recent years, primarily as a result of rising climate risks, while critical infrastructure such as hospital wards are facing an increased risk of overheating as temperature rise.
However, there is a growing understanding of how the climate resilience of buildings and infrastructure can be improved, while also delivering significant energy efficiency savings and productivity gains.
This exclusive BusinessGreen webinar, hosted in association with EQUANS, will explore the scale of the climate risks faced by buildings, the best practices that can enhance climate resilience, and some of the projects that demonstrate how climate resilience projects are unlocking multiple benefits.
Featuring a panel of leading experts, the interactive webinar will provide invaluable insights into the climate resilience measures that should form part of any effective corporate climate strategy and explore how to ensure business leaders respond to worsening climate risks.
